Magazine Clipping Adjectives

Magazine Clipping Adjectives

For this lesson, we first wrote down five adjectives to describe ourselves. Then, we took a piece of construction paper and cut a hole out for our face. After this, we gathered magazine clippings so we could cut out the adjectives we wrote to describe us and glued them to our piece of construction paper. I added hair to my paper as well.

Extension Activity: You could tie this activity to a social studies lesson, creating the project for a famous historical figure. Students could research the person, pick out five adjectives to describe them. They could then either print out a picture, or draw a picture of the person.
